
1. Application
and Promoters:
Please read these competition terms and
conditions (“Terms”) carefully. These Terms apply to all persons entering the
Promotional Competition (the “Competition”) conducted by The Beverage Company
(Pty) Ltd , situated at 20 Anvil Road, Isando, 1600 (‘’the Promoter’’).
2.
Terms: Instructions on how to enter this Competition
including all rules, mechanics, procedures, directions and all prizes form part
of these Terms. If you take part in this Competition, you expressly agree to be
bound by these Terms and accept that to the extent permitted by law the Promoters’ decision is final and shall be
made in the Promoters’ sole, absolute and unfettered discretion, and that no
correspondence will be entered into. Prizes are not negotiable, transferable,
substitutable or exchangeable in any form.
3. Eligibility:
The Competition is open to all citizens and
legal residents of South Africa, and who at the time of entering the
Competition are over the age of 18 (eighteen) years and are in possession of a
valid South African Identity Document and have a valid South African bank
account (note: in the case of residents: participants/entrants must also have a
valid passport and necessary residency permission) (“Entrants” or
“Participants”). Persons excluded from entering the promotional competition are
any person who is a director, member, partner, employee or agent of, or
consultant (“Associates”) of the Promoters, or any other person who directly or
indirectly controls, is employed by or is controlled by Promoters, and/or
immediate family members of Associates, who are indirectly or directly
connected to or employed by any party in the aforementioned capacities or
relationships, their advertising agencies, manufacturers, distributors or
bottlers of beverages/products (“Disqualified Persons”)
4. Competition Period: The Competition will commence on 11 May 2026
at 00:01 and will end on110 August 2026 at 00:00 (“Promotional
Period”).
5. To enter this competition, Participants will
need to follow the steps below:
a) Purchase any 2x Reboost
products from any participating retail outlet;
b) Scan the QR code found on a
Reboost product, which will direct the Participant to a WhatsApp chatbot, and
follow the prompts to complete the entry;
c) The cost per WhatsApp
message is approximately R0.01
d) A Participant may enter the
Competition a maximum of 3 (three) times for the duration of the Promotional Period,provided that each entry is linked to a
separate qualifying purchase of two (2) Reboost products.
6. Once a Participant has completed their valid
entry, Participants will stand a chance to win their share of the following
prizes to the value of R2 160 000.00.
a. 1 of 380 000 units of instant airtime voucher worth R5.00
each. Note: Airtime is only compatible with prepaid and hybrid contracts only.
b. 1 of 100 x adidas SA Bafana Jerseys worth
R1600.00 retail value each.
c. 1 of 1000
PSL Game Tickets, worth R100 each.
d. 2 of 10 x Suite/Box tickets worth R5000 per
ticket.
7.
Winner
Selection and Verification:
7.1
Once
a Participant scans the QR code and
complete all required details correctly
they will be directed to a ‘Spin the Wheel’ interface , where each Participant
will stand a chance to win one (1) of
the available prizes. All outcomes are determined by a randomised promotional algorithm and
are based on chance.
7.2 Participants may enter the Competition
multiple times over the Promotional Period, provided that the entry is
associated with a separate qualifying entry. Participants stand a chance to win
a maximum of 3 (three) prizes for the Promotional Period.
7.3 The Promoter will try to contact the winner on
the mobile number they used to enter the Competition in accordance with the
applicable prize terms specific contact period. In the event the winner cannot
be contacted and or does not respond to messages within the specified period
and or chooses to decline the prize, then the winner will forfeit their
winnings and a redraw will take place to find a new winner.
7.4
The winner will be required to participate in an audit verification process and
provide a copy of their Identity Document, or any other relevant document
including but not limited to postal or physical address and stamped proof of
bank account via email. Once the required audit verification has been
completed, confirmed, and verified, the winner will be required to sign the
acceptance of prize and indemnity documents, whereafter they will be declared
as an official Prize winner, if applicable.
8. Prize terms:
8.1 R5
Airtime
8.1.1 To
redeem the Voucher, dial *120*120120*01*PIN# (Pin
provided in SMS when you ‘’Spin the Wheel’’).
8.1.2 Follow the prompts on the USSD for the
data / airtime to be loaded onto your mobile phone. The airtime voucher can only be used on any RICA’d prepaid mobile number.
8.1.3 The voucher is valid for one (1) month
after the date the reward pin is received. Kindly note that you need at least 20c airtime
to load the airtime/data.
8.1.4 If winning participants fail to redeem
their Prize within the required validity period, they will forfeit their prize.
8.2 Bafana Jerseys
8.2.1
The Promoter will try to
contact the Winner for a successive period of 7 (seven) days following the
announcement on the number they used to enter the Competition.
8.2.2 Participants acknowledge and accept that
Bafana Jersey sizes cannot be guaranteed. All jerseys are supplied directly by
adidas and are subject to availability. No returns, exchanges or substitutions
will be permitted in respect of jersey size, colour, fit or personal preference
once the prize has been accepted.
8.3 Suite/Box tickets for the PSL league Game
8.3.1
Each
winner will receive a single ticket and
1 complimentary ticket ( 2 tickets in total per Winner).
8.3.2
The
Promoter will try to contact the Winners for a successive period of 15 (fifteen)
days following the announcement on the number used to enter this Competition.
8.3.3
The
Suite/Box Ticket prize is valid for a Premier Soccer League (PSL) match to be
held in Gauteng, on a date to be determined by the Promoter.
8.3.4
Winners
residing outside of Gauteng are eligible to win this prize; however, such
Winners acknowledge and agree that all travel, accommodation, meals, and any
other related costs incurred in attending the match shall be for the Winner’s
own account, and will not be covered by the Promoter.
8.3.5
Winners
must make themselves available on the match date as determined by the Promoter.
Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize, without compensation
or substitution.
8.4 PSL Game Tickets
8.4.1 To retrieve your TicketPro voucher code, click on the link provided on
the SMS that will
be sent to your mobile number entered
when you ‘’ Spin the Wheel’’
8.4.2 Select
redeem. Copy your voucher code and go to www.ticketpro.co.za
8.4.3 Select the tickets you would like to
purchase & add it to your cart.
8.4.4 Proceed
to completing your profile details & pay.
8.4.5 Proceed
to payment & click on pay Select 1 Voucher & enter in the code received
from
the flash link.
8.4.6. The
voucher will reduce the total amount. If there is any remaining balance, choose
a
payment option to cover the difference, which is soley Winners
responsibility.
8.4.7 Voucher cannot be stacked (only one voucher
can be used per transaction, you cannot
combine multiple vouchers for one transaction).
8.4.8 Vouchers
cannot be exchanged for cash.
8.4.8 Valid only in country of purchase (i.e South
Africa).
8.4. 9 Cannot
be transferred or reloaded.
8.4.10 Must be redeemed within 1 month of date of
purchase.

8.6
The
total number of winners per Prize is as per below:

All winners need to allow for 6 (six) weeks for delivery of their
prizes, if applicable.
9 Entry
Expenses: Promoters will not be responsible for any other expenses
whatsoever which the winner may incur as a result of their acceptance and/or
use of the Prizes, whether foreseen or not.
10. Intellectual Property The
copyright, intellectual property rights, image rights and any other rights
vesting in any competition footage, posts and photographs (whether depicting
the winner or not) shall remain the property of the Promoters, who reserves the
right to use it in any way.
11. Transgressions:
Any participant who transgresses any of these terms and conditions or
disparages the promotion or promotional brands in any way or who acts in any
way contrary to the spirit of this Competition, may be banned from entry into
this, or into any other of the Promoters or Promoter promotional competitions,
for a period deemed appropriate by management. Any attempt to damage or
interfere with the social media pages and website used in connection with the
Competition or the information on it, or to otherwise undermine the legitimate
operation of the Competition may be a violation of criminal and civil laws and
should such an attempt be made, whether successful or not, the Promoter
reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent permitted by law. The
Promoters reserve the right (subject to applicable law) to disqualify or ban
any individual who tampers with or attempts to subvert or interfere with the
Competition social media channels or entry process or prize retrieval process.
12. Cancellation
and Amendment: The Promoters reserve the right to cancel or amend or alter
the Competition and its rules or prizes (not already awarded, to any other
substitute prize of comparable commercial value) at their own discretion at any
time, if deemed necessary in their opinion and/or if circumstances arise
outside of their control, without prior notice and no participants shall have
recourse for such cancellation or alteration. Any changes will be posted either
within the competition information or these terms and conditions shall become
effective immediately after being altered or on such date as may be determined
by the Promoters. No participant shall have any recourse against the Promoters
as a result of the alterations of the rules or prizes, to the extent permitted
by law.
13. Invalid
Entries: Entries which are unclear, illegible, incomplete, are submitted
via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or false information or from
Disqualified Persons, will be declared invalid. The Promoters may refuse to
award the prize if the Terms have not been adhered to or if the Promoters
detect any irregularities or fraudulent practices. If the Promoters are unable
to reach any entrant or complete the verification process after drawing his/her
entry for whatsoever reason, such entrant will be disqualified, and the draw of
a replacement entry shall take place in the same manner as the first draw.
14. Defects and Applicable Costs: The
Promoters, the Promoters’ affiliates and/or its associated companies are not liable for any defect in
the Prizes. All ancillary costs, including but not limited insurance,
government taxes or other fees applicable, are the responsibility of the
winners, and/or entrants. Should any claims arise from defects related to
prizes, winners must pursue such claims with the manufacturer thereof, to
the extent permitted by law.
15.Limitation of Liability: All
entrants, participants and the winners and users of the prizes to the maximum
extent permitted by law, indemnify the Promoters and their advertising
agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and Bottlers of beverages
identified by the trademarks owned by or licensed to Promoter. affiliates
and/or associated companies against any and all claims, loss, damage, harm,
injury of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation
in any way howsoever in this Competition (including, as a result of any act or
omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or
otherwise on the part of the Promoters and/or use of the Prizes).
16. Technical
failures and Unauthorised intervention: If for any reason the Competition
is not capable of running as planned as a result of any technical failures,
unauthorised intervention, computer virus, mobile network failure, social media
site downtime, tampering, fraud or any other causes beyond the Promoters’
control which corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness,
integrity or proper conduct of the Competition, the Promoters reserve the right
to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Competition or to disqualify or ban
any individual who (whether directly or indirectly) causes (or has caused or
has attempted to cause) the problem. If an act, omission, event or circumstance
occurs which is beyond the reasonable control of the Promoters, the Promoters’
affiliates and/or its associated companies and which prevents the Promoters,
the Promoters’ affiliates and/or its associated companies from complying with
these Terms the Promoters will not be liable for any failure to perform or delay
in performing its obligation.
17. Lost and Stolen Prizes: In cases
where prize of money (cash) is paid into the incorrect bank (and where such
account has been provided by the participant) account or such monies are stolen
or, the Promoters will not replace or reimburse the remaining balance of cash.
The Promoters, the Promoters’ affiliates and/or its associated companies will
not be responsible for any balance of cash lost as a result of theft or fraud.
The Promoters, the Promoters’ affiliates and/or its associated companies will
not be responsible for any unauthorised use of cash where the card number, PIN,
bank account details or any authorising credentials have become known to
another party. In cases where the winner supplied the incorrect postal or
physical address, or where the prize is stolen as a result thereof, the
Promoter will not replace or reimburse the winner with another prize.
18. Non-Waiver
of Terms: A failure by the Promoters, the Promoters’ affiliates and/or its
associated companies to enforce any one of the Terms in any instance(s) will
not give rise to any claim or right of action by any participant or prize
winner, nor shall it be deemed to be a waiver of any of the Promoters’, the Promoters’ affiliates and/or its
associated companies’ rights in relation to the same. Nothing in these Terms
limits or excludes any rights or remedies that a Participant or winner may have
under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 or other applicable law, which cannot
lawfully be limited, excluded, or waived.
19. Legal
Compliance: All entrants and participants are advised that in compliance with global data protection and privacy laws and standards,
and particularly the laws of the countries in which the Promoters operate,
Promoters are required to retain certain information (where applicable) of the
participants, entrants and winners for a period of 3 (three) years (“Personal
Information”). Such Personal Information to be retained by the Promoters
includes (but is not limited to) the full names, identity numbers, contact
details and winner’s acknowledgement of prize receipts. Accordingly, the
Promoters will require the winners to complete and submit an information
disclosure agreement and indemnification to enable the Promoters to ensure
compliance with global data protection and privacy laws and standards, where
applicable. Should any entrant, participant and/or winner refuse or be unable
to comply with this rule for any reason, such entrant, participant and/or
winner will be deemed to have rejected the Prize(s) and it shall revert to the

20.Promoters Decision: Except insofar
as is provided for in the Consumer Protection Act (Act 68 of 2008), the
Promoters decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into after
the Competition’s closing date.
21. Termination: If required by the
Minister for Trade and Industry, the National Consumer Commission or National
Consumer Tribunal, or for any other reason whatsoever, the Promoters will be
entitled to terminate the Competition immediately without any notice to the Participants.
In such an event all Participants hereby waive any rights which they may have
against the Promoters, to the extent permitted by law..
22. Severability:
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by
any court of competent jurisdiction, then that provision shall be severed from
these Terms and shall not affect the validity or enforceability of any
remaining provisions.
23. Law
and jurisdiction: These Terms shall be governed by the laws of South
Africa. All entrants, participants and winners consent to the non-exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts of South Africa in respect of all matters arising
out of or in connection with the Terms.
